BIOGRAPHY
Played clarinet in school bands for nearly nine years; mostly self-taught on piano, guitar and alto saxophone; started using Reason and Audacity for projects in university; have been wanting to compose music since about age 12, but only recently decided to give it more serious thought.

My first attempt at an album; I did this challenge with the hope that it would motivate me to write full songs instead of just noting ideas. Prior to this I'd only written/recorded a few (very short!) compositions.
This was done on a very tiny USB piano keyboard (with the exception of "One Take" which allowed me to use both hands on a borrowed keyboard for seven minutes)and computer programs Reason and Audacity.
There are no (real)vocals, it's mostly instrumental/ambient intended to be listened to whilst doing other things. I've found that I enjoy music while reading/studying, but songs with lyrics tend to distract me.
"Guinea Pig Robots" refers to the experimental and computerized nature of the album, as well as the more literal track that uses sounds sampled of one of my favourite animals, guinea pigs. And I wanted it to be fun.
It's not perfect, it's not meant to be, but I hope you enjoy it.
